Tuesday 1/5 @ 4 p.m.: Tuesday Teen Flicks

Thursday 1/7 @ 6:30 p.m.: Teen Open Mic Night
This is your chance to get up in the spotlight and shine! You can come sing a song, recite a monologue, play the guitar, read a poem, or even do a stand up comedy routine! If getting up in front of a crowd isn’t your thing, then just come hang out and cheer on the performers! As always, there will be snacks and drinks!

Thursday 1/14 @ 4 p.m.: Teen Book Club— The Hunger Games
Suzanne Collins’ book about Kat, a girl who has to face incredible odds to try to win a Survivor-like competition that is televised to the whole world.

Tuesday 1/19 @ 4 p.m.: Tuesday Teen Flicks

Thursday 1/21 @ 6:30 p.m.: Teen Advisory Board Meeting
Come help us plan the Teen After Hours Party we’re having in February!

Tuesday 1/26 @ 4 p.m.: Tuesday Teen Flicks

Tuesday 1/28 @ 6:30 p.m.: Teen Game Night
We’ll have the Wii set up, along with tons of fun board games and card games

*Come try your luck at poker and blackjack (using candy instead of money, of course)

Don’t miss our Teen Holiday Party at 6:30 on Thursday!

We’ll drink hot chocolate, eat Christmas goodies, play games, and listen to music. If you want to participate in the gift exchange, don’t forget to bring a wrapped gift that cost $5 or less. Hope to see you there!

The holiday season is here, and the Twin Falls Public Library is celebrating this fun time of year with some awesome teen events! Here's a list of events we’re doing in the month of December:

Saturday 12/5 @ 2 p.m.: Decorate Yscapes for the holidays!
Help us make Yscapes look festive and fun! We’ll listen to Christmas music and have cookies and hot chocolate!

Thursday 12/10 @ 4 p.m.: Teen Book Club— Coraline
Read Neil Gaiman’s book about a girl who discovers an alternate world inside her new house!

Thursday 12/17 @ 6:30 p.m.: Teen Holiday Party and Teen Advisory Board Meeting

Come to the TAB meeting to decide what movies we’re watching next month, choose our next 4 books for the Teen Book Club, and plan our teen events for December! Don’t forget, if you being a friend to the meeting, you both get a candy bar!
