Don’t miss Teen Read Week October 17-23 at the Twin Falls Public Library! This year’s theme is Books with Beat, and we have some great music-themed events planned. Check it out:
Tuesday Oct. 19 @ 4 p.m.: Teen Movie
Come watch a movie about an orphan named August who uses his amazing talent for music to seek out his parents.
Thursday October 21 @ 6:30p.m.: Guitar Hero Tournament and Jam Session
We’ll hook the Wii up to a projector and speakers for an amazing, rocking experience, and you and your friends can battle it out on the guitar, drums and mic! There will be prizes for the top bands, food and drinks for everyone, and whole lot of fun!!! You can also bring your real guitar or other instruments for an awesome jam session with other teen musicians.

Don’t forget your swimsuit and towel, because we're going to play some awesome water games outside! Join us on the grassy spot across from the outside book drops to play games like Sponge Tag, Capture the Flag, Beach Towel Volleyball, and a water balloon relay!

Vampires are everywhere— books, music, TV shows, and movies. Come to our Vampire Party to talk about your favorite vamps while you play games, make crafts and eat vampire cupcakes.
June 10 @ 3 p.m.: Water Olympics
Don’t forget your swimsuit and towel! We’re kicking off summer reading with some awesome water games like Capture the Flag and Beach Towel Volleyball. If the weather is bad, we’ll be doing a scavenger hunt inside.
June 17 @ 3 p.m.: Tie-dye Extravaganza
Bring something colored, clean, and cotton to dye. Let the creative juices flow and use bleach pens to create some awesome designs.
June 24 @ 3 p.m.: Vampire Party
Vampires are everywhere— books, music, TV shows, and movies. Come talk about your favorite vamps while you play games, make crafts and eat vampire cupcakes.
July 1 @ 3 p.m.: Just Add Water: Foods and Drinks
You’d be surprised what you can make by just adding water to something! We’ll make cakes, drinks, and slime!
July 8 @ 3 p.m.: A Day at the Beach Party
July 15 @ 3 p.m.: Treasure Hunt
Channel your inner pirate! Follow a Treasure Map to some hidden pirate treasure and win some great prizes!
July 22 @ 3 p.m.: 60 Second Games: Water Edition
Play games like Bucket Head, Elephant March, and Go the Distance, all from the TV show Minute to Win It.
July 30 from 7p.m.-11 p.m.: Teen After Hours Party
Let’s end the Summer Reading Program with a bang! We’ll have the library all to ourselves for games, food, and prizes. You must complete one of the Summer Reading Treasure Maps and turn in a permission slip to come.
